A NEW open studio art workshop for individuals, ages 16+, on the autism spectrum!
Adaptive Art Lab will feature reduced lighting and sound, limited enrollment, predictable session structure, and flexible pacing as participants explore a variety of art mediums (painting, drawing, ceramics, fiber art, beadwork, etc.)
Through an intentionally-designed environment and guided, self-paced instruction, the program aims at providing conditions in which creative engagement is possible, rather than overwhelming, and where participants can engage alongside peers in a supportive, non-judgmental setting.
