The Hunterdon Art Museum is happy to offer personalized, in-depth visits to our exhibitions to meet your group’s interests and needs.

Feeling creative? We are happy to pair your group tour with an instructor-led workshop in a variety of art mediums, for an additional charge of $10 per person.

Tour groups are limited to 45 people. Groups larger than 15 will be divided and led by more than one docent (guide).

Contact Donna de Ville, Director of Education & Community Engagement at [email protected] or call 908-735-8415 ext. 119 to make reservations.

A $30 non-refundable deposit is required at the time of scheduling to hold a date.

Guided Group Tours

The museum offers docent-led (guided) tours of our current exhibitions. Tours are available for schools, camp programs, and community groups. They are approximately 45 – 60 minutes and customizable for children and adults.

For groups of children under 12, we request a chaperone for every 8 kids. For ages 12-17, we request a chaperone for every 10.

Tour fees include the price of admission. Hands-on art workshops may be added for an additional fee. Payment, minus deposit, is expected at the time of the tour based on the final group headcount.

Guided tours should be scheduled at least two weeks in advance.
