Students will be able to explore and create useful works of art out of air-dry clay! We will be exploring different sculpting techniques, shapes, and designs to create cups, bowls, jewelry holders, vases, and plates. Students will be given the choice – what will you make?

Students attending both days will sculpt on day 1 and paint and decorate their pieces on day 2. Students just attending day 2 will sculpt and bring home their pieces to paint.

This class will explore the basics of printmaking, on and off the press. Each day, students will use processes such as mono-printing, relief printing, etching, and collagraph printing on the press, as well as alternative processes to explore when a press is not available. Class time will include demonstrations, group discussions, and open press time to create a body of work or to just experiment with new techniques.

Lunch with the Bunch (Ages 5-14) 12-1pm

Thurs. & Fri., Nov. 7th & 8th

All Students: $10

Staying for a full day of camp? Or just want to eat lunch with some friends? Sign up for Lunch with the Bunch so your child can eat lunch with other students, supervised by HAM staff. After lunch is finished, we’ll play games, do an art project, or draw with chalk until the afternoon camp begins!

All campers must pack a nut-free lunch for Lunch with the Bunch. Lunch is not provided by the museum. Students who are staying for both the AM and PM session must be signed up for Lunch with the Bunch, unless the guardian plans on picking them up between the two sessions.
