Create exciting compositions exploring collage! Engage with BIG ideas and tell personal stories throughout the process inspired by the work of artist and instructor Gabe Chiarello.
Meet the Instructor:
Gabe Chiarello graduated from Rutgers University’s Mason Gross School of the Arts in 2015 with a BFA in painting. He works in many different mediums including but not limited to painting, sculpture, collage, music, and video. Having amassed an impressive body of work, he finds that working with a multitude of different materials helps illuminate the bigger picture, and how all these disparate ways of working, however different they may seem, influence and speak to each other. He feels that by not limiting one’s creativity to just a fraction of all manners of self expression, you can see through an artistic lens into the connectedness of all things — as long as you look hard enough.
