In this class, students will experiment with a limited color palette to create still life paintings. Using only the Primary Triad — Cadmium Yellow Light, Cadmium Red Light, Ultramarine Blue, White (for vibrant, broad ranges) — emphasis is placed on strong color harmony, unity, and value. This approach fosters masterful color mixing, enhances tonal understanding, and helps achieve cohesion in complex scenes, making paintings feel more intentional and unified.
