Make a Difference

We have many opportunities for you:

• Greet visitors and answer phones at our reception desk
• Work in the museum shop
• Join with others to prepare mailings, serve on a committee
or assist in fundraising
• Help with exhibition receptions
• Tend the museum's garden
• Lead exhibition tours for children or adults
• Be a member of the exhibition installation crew
• Help maintain our historic building
• Assist studio art teachers

A volunteer says, "The Hunterdon Museum of Art is a creative community of remarkable people. Volunteers meet new friends, find new interests, and help bring art to the people of this region."

Volunteers of all ages are welcome.

Associates Board

The Associates Board works closely with the Development Department and supports the Museum through its work on special events and other initiatives. Organized in 2007, this board has been involved in the planning and implementation of events. Its first assignment, the 2007 Art Party, was greatly enhanced by its members' participation.

2008 Involvement
Associates are co-chairing the 2008 Art Party, chairing Art Party committees such as the ad book, public relations, decorations, and the non-art portion of the auction, working on the 2008 Art in the Open and the 2008 Film Festival.

The Associates Board meets regularly and provides an opportunity for those who are interested in the Museum to take an active role and get to know others who are enthusiastic about the Museum.
