This workshop is designed to teach students how to understand values and paint light on form, using oil paints. If you have never painted in oil paint, this workshop will show you how to be comfortable with oils and learn to love the medium.
I use odorless Gamsol and clean up is easier than you think. The benefits of oil paint are plentiful. You will have longer open time… the paint will stay wet for a longer time, so you can really make decisions and changes to your work in progress. The instructor uses a limited color palette, so the supply list is shorter and the benefit of learning to mix the colors is much greater!
This course is perfect for young students who want to strengthen their portfolio, and for adults who want to improve their painting skills.
