Create a one-of-a-kind artwork from your own memories. Learn collage and découpage techniques while transforming photographs, letters, maps, and treasured keepsakes into a richly-layered mixed media composition. Bring your own meaningful materials and leave with a finished artwork that tells your story.

Meet the Artist

Donna Kessinger, Teaching Artist and Director of Exhibitions received her Masters in Arts Administration in 2017, University of Kentucky, with her thesis work focusing on elevating respite programs through the Arts. She has experience  working within international museums and organizations developing innovative exhibitions and related arts education programming notably through the Collaborative Art Projects (CAP) program at the Bronx Museum of the Arts, PS1/MoMA, Aljira a Space for Contemporary Art and as and Independent Curator in New York City and along the NJ Coast. Donna was recently the Director of Therapeutic Recreation Summer Art Programs for Monmouth County Parks, coordinated the Day of the Arts art program at Middletown Art Center with the ARC of Monmouth. She continues to coordinate, design and teach art programs for special needs populations, including those with Autism, as part of the Hunterdon Art Museum’s vision.
