Create your very own paper! This introductory kids workshop will explore the art of hand papermaking and use inspiration from the museums current exhibition, Pulp: The Fluid and The Concrete. In this workshop participants will experiment with color, inclusions, sheet forming with a mould and deckle, pressing and drying. We will learn about a variety of decorative techniques to create one-of-a-kind handmade paper. Participants may get wet as we will be continuously working in water.
Please note: Instructor will take home the papers to press and dry at the end of the workshop and participants must return to the museum to pick up their work.
