The purpose of these three teen workshops is to educate, challenge, and inspire. Art Educator Julie Swenson will guide participants through community-building exercises and engage them in dynamic conversations centered on art. Gallery discussions will highlight the work of contemporary artists who are on view at the Museum. Teens will reflect on issues raised in the art work allowing for exploration and constructive discussion of relevant topics that our nation is facing.

Through informal conversations and hands-on art activities students will deepen their awareness concerning current social issues. Participation in all three workshops is welcome but not mandatory.

This program is generously funded by The Cestone Family Foundation.
