Would you like to conjure up beautiful blue images with sunlight? Then our cyanotype workshop is just the thing for you! Cyanotype is a printing technique that was discovered almost 200 years ago and used in the first photography book ever. Using the power of the sun and a special mixture that makes the paper light-sensitive, fascinating blue and white works of art are created.
In this one-day workshop, you will learn the history of the process, see some examples of how it has been used, and make some prints yourself. Materials will be supplied, but you are welcome to bring anything you’d like to use to make prints including leaves, photographic negatives, or anything else. Let your imagination be your guideā¦
