2025 Juried Print Exhibition: Call for Entries

Hunterdon Art Museum invites applications to our 2025 juried exhibition of prints. We are seeking dynamic and compelling interpretations of the printmaking medium.

Juror
Lauren Rosenblum is the Jensen Bryan Curator at The Print Center, Philadelphia. Previously, she held curatorial positions at the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston and the Philadelphia Museum of Art. Her published essays and exhibitions have focused on printmaking and second-wave feminism, modernist art movements, and contemporary practices. Rosenblum is currently a doctoral candidate in art history at The Graduate Center, City University of New York.

Awards
First Prize: $1,000
Second Prize: $500
Three Honorable Mention prizes will be awarded.

Entry Fee
$40 (Non-Members)/$35 (Museum Members) for up to five entries.
Entry fees are non-refundable

Eligibility
The exhibition is open to artists age 18 and older.

Specifications
Wall-mounted pieces must not exceed 72 inches in height or width, including frames, and may not weigh more than 25 pounds. Free-standing pieces may not exceed 36″H x 22″W x 22″D or weigh more than 50 pounds. Size limitations must be observed. Frames must be ready to hang with D-rings and wire. If piece is not framed, any necessary installation hardware must be included, along with detailed installation instructions. Please contact HAM with questions about any shipping concerns before you apply. Accepted work cannot be substituted and must be available for the duration of the exhibition.

Submission
Submit up to five pieces; one digital image for each piece and one detail of one piece (maximum of six images). 
File format:
 JPEG or JPG only
File dimensions: 1200 pixels or greater on the longest side

All entries must be received by October 25, 2024. 

Shipping/Delivery of Artwork
The artist is responsible for the cost of shipping or mailing artwork to and from the Hunterdon Art Museum using UPS, FedEx or USPS. A return shipping label and return postage must be included with the artwork. If packaging is deemed not safe enough to return work, a packaging replacement charge may be assessed.

Artwork may also be hand-delivered to and picked up from the Museum on the appropriate dates during the scheduled times. Outside packaging may not exceed 82 inches x 30 inches.

Insurance
All artwork is insured for its declared value from the time it is received through May 15, 2025 while it is on the premises. Artists are responsible for insuring artwork during transit.

Media/Public Relations
Hunterdon Art Museum reserves the right to use digital images of exhibited artwork for media, website, PR and advertising.
