This 90-minute session introduces both physical movement and deep relaxation through a
combination of Sun Salutations and Yoga Nidra. Participants will be guided through the
fundamentals of a Sun Salutation, learning the sequence step by step while exploring breath
awareness and variations. A Sun Salutation (Surya Namaskar) is a sequence of physical poses
linked by breath, known as a salute to the sun. The workshop will share strategies for
integrating Sun Salutations into a personal practice, whether for building mental strength and
focus, improving mobility, or cultivating mindfulness. Participants will move through these poses
at a steady pace, encouraging mindful awareness and engagement.
Following the movement practice, the session will transition into Yoga Nidra, a guided deep relaxation designed to help the body absorb the benefits of movement. This combination of active engagement and full-body relaxation provides an opportunity to deepen awareness and embodiment.

Larissa Ranglin is the founder of Evergroundz. Rooted in her own journey and intentional
practice to be more present in her life she developed the community Evergroundz. Based in
New Jersey, she cultivates a holistic approach to teaching, helping students balance body, mind,
and spirit. She offers classes, workshops and private sessions locally and virtually. Her mission
is to help people reconnect with their inner power and live life from the place of a human “being”
rather than a human “doing.” She finds joy in supporting individuals through yoga, meditation
and wellness practices to integrate their practice on and off the mat. Larissa is a psychotherapist
