Meet the Instructor!
Lisette Bedoya, a Hunterdon County resident, is relishing the joys of nature and serenity found west of her native Hudson County. Pottery is an unwavering passion as an instructor sharing the love of mud with all ages for over twenty years teaching primarily at the Visual Arts Center of NJ in Summit and currently sharing her time at Flemington Pottery and Old Borough Hall Pottery in High Bridge and Propagate Studio in Stewartsville. An artist who typically creates functional pieces on the potter’s wheel, for Lisette, the ancient firing method of Raku is a cherished way to produce decorative pieces. Demonstrating a Raku firing for the crowds at Peter’s Valley and the Visual Art Center several times a year is pure magic!
